We’re a small independent team, so there’s no phone queue and no ticket system — just email. Here’s what to expect depending on why you’re writing.

Found an error?

Please tell us. Our state guides carry cost, incentive, and tax figures that change, and the fastest way we learn something is out of date is a reader flagging it.

Include the page URL and what looks wrong. We review correction requests within 5 business days and update the page with a note recording the correction. Our editorial team page explains how we source and check these numbers.

Want your data removed?

Use the privacy request form — it takes about a minute and needs no account. Choose whether you want to see, correct, or delete what we hold, or opt out of the sale or sharing of your information. If you used our old quote form before it was retired in August 2026, use the same email or phone so we can match your record.

Opt-outs are immediate — your record is flagged on submission and never passed to another installer. Access, deletion, and correction requests are handled by a person within 45 days, usually much sooner. You can email us instead if you’d rather; both routes reach the same place. Used the old quote form and getting unwanted calls?

Submit the opt-out form — that stops any further sharing straight away — then email us and we’ll tell you which installers already received your details, so you can go to them directly. You can also reply STOP to any text message.

Are you an installer?

We’re open to talking. Email us with your service area, licensing, and NABCEP certification status. Note that paying us does not buy a better ranking — the about page explains where we draw that line, and our affiliate disclosure sets out how we’re funded.

What we can’t help with

We’re a comparison site, not an installer, an electrician, or a retailer. So we can’t:

• Quote, install, service, or inspect a solar system
• Handle an order, shipment, return, or warranty claim for a product bought through one of our links — those go to the retailer or brand you bought from
• Give tax advice. We report what the rules say and cite the source; whether a credit applies to your situation is a question for a tax professional
