How we make money

When you buy through the affiliate links on our site — for example, links to Jackery solar generators, or to Outbound Power, which sells EcoFlow, Anker SOLIX, Jackery, and Rich Solar equipment — we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Some partners also give our readers a discount code; where one exists we show it, and it costs you nothing extra to use. This is the standard way independent comparison sites are funded.

How this affects what you see

It does not affect our editorial content. We recommend products based on:

• Real capacity and output specs (watt-hours, surge wattage, expandability)
• Battery chemistry and safety (LiFePO4, indoor-safe operation)
• Fit for each state’s actual outage risks
• Price relative to comparable products

We do not rank products based on what they pay us.
